You can connect a keyboard or mouse to the tablet, making it a full-fledged workstation that is not inferior (or almost the same as) a laptop. However, problems may arise when connecting peripheral devices.
Formally, a keyboard or a mouse can be freely connected to each tablet, however, they will not always work stably, since the firmware of some devices may be incompatible with each other, and on older tablets, operation with only a limited number of devices may be supported. To avoid such troubles, review the documentation for the tablet, usually, this aspect is always described there in detail.

How to connect the tablet to a computer
There are two main options for connecting the keyboard to the tablet:
- Wired;
- Wireless.
Option 1: Connect using a USB cable
In this case, you can connect any keyboard, and to connect, you only need a cable with USB and USB Type-C. Usually, such a cable always comes with a tablet. True, initially it is connected to the charger, but you can easily turn it off. If this is not included with the tablet, then you can purchase it at any electronics store.
Now you just need to plug the end of the cable with USB Type-C into the connector for charging the tablet, and the end of the cable with normal USB into a special connector on the keyboard (usually there is only one). After connecting, Android recognizes the keyboard, installs some drivers if necessary, and you can fully use the keyboard.
It should be understood that it is impossible to connect the old keyboards to the tablet in this way, since the USB port in the design is necessary, and the old models, as a rule, are deprived of it.
Option 2: Bluetooth
This option may be somewhat more complicated, as you will need to further configure the Bluetooth connection on the tablet. However, this option is economical - bluetooth keyboards are more compact and do not require any wires to be connected to them.
Connection instructions are as follows:
- Use special switches on the keyboard. If they are on, the indicators will flash or just light up. If they do not light up, it means that you did not turn on the keyboard or that it is not charged.
- Now go to the tablet settings and turn on Bluetooth there. After switching on go to the connection settings.
- A list of devices that can be connected to the tablet should appear here. The keyboard is marked with a corresponding icon. To connect, just tap on the keyboard. A window will open where you need to select "Connect . "
- The pairing process begins. It can take up to 10 seconds. Upon completion of the process, a window will open where you need to enter the code on the keyboard. After that, click on Enter.
- If everything is done correctly, then in the list of devices on the tablet, the keyboard will appear with the status "Connected". Now you can print from it.
There is nothing complicated about connecting a keyboard to a tablet. The only thing that can cause problems is the lack of drivers or special software on the tablet.
